PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To suppress the growth of a crystal grain, to increase density by reducing sintering time, and to reduce an assistant alloy in a two-alloys method.
SOLUTION : The fines of a mother alloy mainly made of R2T14B phase (R indicates at least one type of rare earth element, and T indicates a transition metal containing at least one type from Fe and Co.), and the fines of the assistant alloy containing R, T, and M (however, R indicates at least one type of rare earth element, T indicates a transition metal containing at least one type from Fe and Co, and M indicates at least one type selected from Ga, Al, Cu, and Mn) are used as a raw material alloy fine. The forming body for forming the raw material alloy fine is sintered as the rare earth sintered magnet, where the sintering is made by discharge plasma sintering.
