PURPOSE : To provide magnesium alloys, for die cast, capable of improving high temperature creep performance without deterioration of strength at room temperature and magnesium die cast products that are die cast by using the magnesium alloys for die cast. CONSTITUTION : A magnesium alloy for die cast is characterized in that it is manufactured by adding strontium(Sr) and at least one of antimony(Sb) and calcium(Ca) as grain refiners to the base magnesium alloy AZ91 after manufacturing a base magnesium alloy AZ91 by adding one or more selected from 0.1 to 1.5 wt% of silicon(Si), 0.1 to 1.2 wt% of misch metal containing a rare earth group, 0.2 to 0.8 wt% of zirconium(Zr), 0.2 to 3.0 wt% of scandium(Sc), 0.2 to 3.0 wt% of yttrium(Y), 0.2 to 3.0 wt% of tin(Sn) and 0.2 to 3.0 wt% of barium(Ba) to a magnesium alloy AZ91 comprising 6.0 to 11.0 wt% of aluminum(Al), 0.1 to 2.5 wt% of zinc(Zn), 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of manganese(Mn) and other inevitably contained components. © KIPO 2006
