To provide an Al alloy reflection film for optical information recording having low thermal conductivity, low melting temperature and high corrosion resistance, and capable of coping with laser marking, to provide an optical information recording medium provided with the reflection film, and to provide a sputtering target for depositing the reflection film. The Al alloy reflection film for optical information recording is essentially comprised of Al and contains 1.0 to 10.0 at% at least one rare earth element and 0.5 to 5.0 at% at least one element of Cr, Ta, Ti, Mo, V, W, Zr, Hf, Nb, and Ni. The Al alloy reflection film contains 1.0 to 5.0 at% at least one of Fe and Co or 1.0 to 10.0 at% at least one of In, Zn, Ge, Cu, and Li. The present invention is characterized by providing an optical information recording medium having the mentioned Al alloy reflection film, and a sputtering target composed of Al alloy similar to the composition of the Al alloy reflection film.
