PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To reduce the re-scattering ratio of dust when the dust is charged into a converter and to improve the utilizing efficiency of the collected dust by charging the collected dust into the converter during blowing while supporting it with magnetic small scrap pieces or magnetized small scrap pieces for improving the recycling efficiency of the dust, without performing the large reconstruction of the existing facility. SOLUTION : In a utilizing apparatus for converter dust, provided with a dust collecting means 2, 3, 4, 12, 24 for collecting the converter dust contained in gas from the converter 1 and a dust charging means 17 for charging the converter dust collected with the above dust collecting means into the converter during blowing, and arranged in a converter waste gas treating device, a converter dust-small scrap piece mixing vessel 15 for supporting the converter dust with the magnetic small scrap pieces or the magnetized small pieces, is arranged.
