PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a motor which can prevent the occurrence of the effect on the performance accompanied with the drop of accuracy in setting of a motor or the effect on the quality such as rare short, etc. due to the distortion of the stator of the motor, by shrink-fitting the motor into a metal frame. SOLUTION : The interfitting margin in the shrinkage fitting of the stator 1 of the motor into the metal frame 5 is equalized to the range of the slip width of the stacked core iron plates 7 of the motor stator 1, whereby the shrinkage fitting is performed in the section jutted out by the slippage of the stacked core iron plates 7, thereby lightening the distortion accompanied with the deformation of the motor stator 1.
