PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth bond magnet having superior heat resistance and high mechanical strength. SOLUTION : A thermoplastic resin having a particle size (d) of 0=200 deg.C is mixed in a binder, composed mainly of a thermosetting rein at a mixing ratio of 1-40 vol.% with respect to the total amount of the binder. A preferable thermosetting resin is an epoxy resin, its modified resin, a triazine resin, or a bis(maleimide)triazine resin and a preferable thermoplastic resin is a fluororesin. It is preferable to mix an agent for making compatibility the thermosetting resin and thermoplastic resin in the binder at a mixing ratio of 1-20 vol.% with respect to the total amount of binder. It is also preferable to use a fluorine-based surface active substance as the agent for making them compatible.
