PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a highly reliable magnet, having high magnetic flux density, high magnetizability, and particularly, high corrosion resistance. SOLUTION : Magnet powder is composed of an alloy composition expressed by a formula, Rx(Fe1-yCoy)100-x-z-wBzSiw (where R, x, and y respectively represent at least one kind of rare-earth element, 8.1-9.4 atm.%, and 0-0.30 and z and w respectively represent 4.6-6.8 atm.% and 0.2-3 atm.%) and has a nanocomposite composition, in which a soft magnetic phase and a hard magnetic phase exist adjacently. When an isotropic bonded magnet is manufactured by mixing the magnet powder with a binding resin and molding the mixture, the magnet has such a magnetic characteristic that the magnetic flux density always stays above the straight line expressed by formula (I) in the area which is higher in B than the straight line Pc=2.0 in the second quadrant of the B-H diagram showing the magnetic characteristics of the magnet at a room temperature, and in addition, a characteristic coercive force (iHc) is 5.1 to 9.0 kOe.
