PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a pressure sensitive adhesive tape with less aged deterioration of adhesiveness, good adhesiveness, good releasability, no residual adhesive to a surface after release and a very small content of a volatile organic compound. SOLUTION : A cloth substrate is formed by crossing linear materials made by uniaxially stretching a thermoplastic resin. A pressure sensitive adhesive composition layer is laminated on at least one surface of the cloth substrate to make a re-releasable pressure sensitive adhesive tape. The adhesive composition comprises (A) a copolymer emulsion of 100 pts.wt. (in terms of the solid content) having a glass transition temperature of -20 to -75°C, which is made by polymerizing, in an emulsified state, (a) an alkyl (meth)acrylate of 65-99.9 pts.wt. the alkyl group of which has 4-12C, (b) a hydroxyl group-containing monomer of 0.1-8 pts.wt. and (c) another monomer of 0-27 pts.wt., (B) a rosin based tackifier resin of 1-30 pts.wt. having a softening point of 100-170°C, (C) a phosphate based surfactant of 0.01-5 pts.wt. and (D) a polyisocyanate based crosslinking agent of 0-5 pts.wt.
