PURPOSE : Provided are a vacuum UV-excited fluorescent substance which generates the UV ray of 312-315 nm when excited by the vacuum UV ray of 200 nm or less and has a higher area/strength ratio compared with the already-known fluorescent substance, and a UV luminescent fluorescent lamp and a plasma display panel containing the fluorescent substance.
