PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To shorten the total photographing time in the parallel imaging in an MRI apparatus to obtain a good synthetic image. SOLUTION : Processing for diverting the previously acquired sensitivity data or fold-back data is performed without doing over again the acquisition of sensitivity data or fold-back data at every photographing of a subject in the data acquisition of parallel imaging. That is, either one of or both of the sensitivity data and the fold-back data are selected according to a predetermined judge condition and only the necessary data is re-measured to shorten the whole photographing time.
