PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth permanent magnet having coating which has an excellent corrosion-resistance compared with conventional coating. SOLUTION : A rare-earth magnet is used, which has a R-TM-B based permanent magnet containing R (R is at least one of rare-earth elements including Y), TM (TM is Fe, or Fe and Co), and B as main components, and a resin film coating the R-TM-B based permanent magnet, wherein the resin film has an electrodeposition coating film and an electrostatic powder coating film coating the electrodeposition coating film. The electrostatic powder coating film desirably contains at least one element of Ti or Ca in a large amount compared with the electrodeposition coating film.
