PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a washing machine with a drying function improving assembling workability by reducing the number of components of an air passage, capable of coping with a rare possibility of the intrusion of water, and improving an air blast efficiency.SOLUTION : The air passage 25 formed with an elevated part 29, which is located in a position higher than an air inlet 27 and an outlet 28, is provided in the rear part of a top cover 3, a PTC heater 31 is disposed near the elevated part 29 in the air passage 25, and a draining hole 42 is formed in the top cover 3 facing to a space part 41 between the top cover 3 and a casing 26.
