PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a semiconductor laser module which can easily makes a laser beam from a light source incident on an optical fiber with a simple configuration. SOLUTION : A holding section 31 of a ferrule 28 which is a holder of the optical fiber 27 is constituted of a transmission material, such as glass containing rare earth ions. The ferrule 28 is kept attached to the tip of the optical fiber 27, by which the laser beam emitted through a condenser lens 26 from the laser beam source 29 is varied to visible light, and the easy adjustment of the incident position is made by making the beam-condensing position visible.
