PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a polymeric metal composite or a polymeric metal sulfide composite whose precursor is a chemical compound capable of producing a metal or sulfide inclusion. SOLUTION : This manufacturing method comprises a step of preparing a mercaptide-dispersed polymer by dispersing the mercaptide of a metal selected from the group consisting of transition metals and rare earth metals into the polymer and a step of heating the mercaptide-dispersed polymer for the thermolysis of the mercaptide for obtaining the metal or metal sulfide as included in the polymer matrix.
