Composition for infrared fluorescent ink

PURPOSE : An IR fluorescent ink composition which can be excited in the near IR ranged from 900 to 1000 nm and emitted in the ranges of 530 to 550 nm is provided to improve the imitation protecting effect of security features and screen or gravure printability. CONSTITUTION : The IR fluorescent ink composition for screen printing comprises 65.0 to 70 wt% of a varnish, 25 to 35.0 wt% of an invisible rare earth metal complex comprising yttrium oxysulfide, erbium and ytterbium, 1.0 to 2.0 wt% of an ethyl carbitol solvent, 0.5 to 1.0 wt% of Aerosil R-812, 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of a polyethylene wax and 0.1 to 0.5 wt% of a non-ionic surfactant. On the other hand, the ink composition for gravure printing comprises a polyester resin varnish, the invisible rare earth metal complex, a solvent based on methyl ethyl ketone, toluene, Aerosil R-812, a polyethylene wax, a non-ionic surfactant and an anti-static agent.
