FIELD : technological processes.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to a process for the production of heterogeneous catalysts. Method for the preparation of an isobutane alkylation catalyst for butolines based on a zeolite comprising ion exchange by treating a faujasite-type zeolite granulated without a binder, at 70÷90 °C with a simultaneous ultrasonic action at a current intensity of 1–5 A for 1–2 hours at first with an aqueous solution of the calcium salt, then twice with an aqueous solution of a salt of a rare earth element and then with an aqueous solution of an ammonium salt, aqueous solutions of calcium salts, rare earth element and ammonium at elevated temperature for the time necessary to transfer the zeolite from the sodium form to the rare-earth calcium form. After each ion exchange, drying and calcination are carried out in two stages at a temperature of 300–500 °C for 1.5–2.5 hours. This method produces an isobutane alkylation catalyst of butylenes based on a faujasite-type zeolite containing alumina and silica at a silica : alumina molar ratio of 2.7, oxides of sodium, calcium, rare earth element with the following ratio of components, mass% : sodium oxide – 0.1÷0.8, calcium oxide – 1.3÷3.0, rare earth oxide – 18.8÷22.9, the indicated zeolite is the rest. Isobutane is alkylated with butylenes at a temperature of 60÷95 °C, a pressure of 0.85–1.8 MPa, a volumetric feed rate of olefins 0.2÷0.6 h-1, isobutane : butylenes in raw materials 5÷27 : 1 and feed time 4–36 hours.
EFFECT : technical result is to increase the activity of the catalyst for the conversion of olefins, the productivity of alkylate and the yield of the desired product (alkylbenzene) by 10÷15 % by weight.
