PURPOSE : A compost made of corn stalks and kaoliang stalks is provided to grow plants, like ornamental trees and to save money in purchasing fertilizer. CONSTITUTION : The compost made of corn stalks(1) and kaoliang stalks(4) is produced by drying stalks of corn and kaoliang in the sun, shattering dried stalks to pieces for rapid fermentation, putting ground stalks in a sack, layering sacks, and spraying water overlayed sacks. The resultant compost is mixed with earth for growing pants. © KIPO 2005
