PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an inexpensive ferrite magnet exhibiting excellent magnet characteristics in a region of stoichiometric composition and even in a region of slightly BaO rich or BaO and SrO rich composition than in the stoichiometric composition, and to provide its manufacturing method.SOLUTION : The ferrite magnet comprises a single phase of magneto-plumbite type crystal structure represented by a formula (A1-xRx)O-n[(Fe3+1-yFe2+y)2O3].
