Provided is a packaging material in which an adhesion preventing layer is laminated on a surface of a heat sealing layer and which can exhibit improved hot tack property. The packaging material includes in the following order at least a) a base layer, b) a heat sealing layer, and c) an adhesion preventing layer, wherein (1) the heat sealing layer contains filler particles and has a dense region where the filler particles are densely present and a sparse region where the filler particles are sparsely distributed, (2) each of the dense region and the sparse region is a substantially belt-like region, and (3) the dense region and the sparse region are alternately and consecutively arranged such that the entire heat sealing layer has a striped pattern.
