The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a functional food packaging material having antibacterial ability and deodorizing ability and, specifically, to a food packaging material manufactured by mixing a synthetic powder as a main material and a pegmatite micropowder. In particular, pegmatite contains rare minerals, such as beryllium, uranium, niobium, tantalum, and cerium, as well as components necessary for the human body, such as magnesium, sodium, silicon, and calcium, and especially contains beneficial physiological essential minerals in ideal harmony, which assist regenerative ability of the human body. In particular, the pegmatite has harmful component-adsorbing ability and antimicrobial and antifungal functions, and thus has an effect of providing excellent food storage stability and maintaining food freshness for a long time.
