The present invention relates to a phosphor, and more specifically, to an oxynitride phosphor emitting red light and a light-emitting device package using the oxynitride phosphor emitting red light. The purpose of the present invention provides the oxynitride phosphor emitting red light, the oxynitride phosphor which is capable of realizing high luminescence intensity having a new crystal structure, and the light-emitting device package using the oxynitride phosphor emitting red light. The present invention is represented by general formula M_aA_bO_cN_d : R_e as a composition comprising at least an element M, an element A, an element N, an element O, and an element R, wherein the element M is one or more elements selected from divalent rare-earth elements other than elements of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn and R, the element A is one or more elements selected from the group consisting of quadrivalent metal elements, the element O is oxygen, the element N is nitrogen, the element R is one or more elements selected from Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, and Yb, and the elements M, A, N, O and R may have compositions of 2< =(a+e)< =4, 6< =b< =8, 1< =c< =3, 9< =d< =11, and 0.0001< =e< =0.3.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
