FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : method for glass-ceramic material production, mol % : Li2O - 10-30, Al2O3 - 12-35, SiO2 - 40-78, Nb2O5 - 2-6 , Y2O3 - 0.01-6 , Er2O3 - 0.01-4 , Yb2O3 - 0.01-4, Eu2O3 - 0.1-4; Ho2O3 - 0.1-4; Tm2O3 - 0.1-4, Tb2O3 - 0.1-4, Pr2O3 - 0.1-4, Nd2O3 - 0.1-4, Dy2O3 - 0.1-4, Sm2O3 - 0.1-4 where Nb2O5, Y2O3, Er2O3, Yb2O3, Eu2O3, Ho2O3, Tm2O3, Tb2O3, Pr2O3, Nd2O3, Dy2O3, Sm2O3 are introduced in excess of 100% of the basic composition. Oxides are mixed and ground until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, poured into a quartz crucible and placed in a ceramic silit furnace. Mixture is melted at a temperature of 1560-1600°C for 3-8 hours. Then, the molten glass is cooled to a temperature of 1400-1500°C, cast to impart the desired shape and annealed at a temperature of 600-700°C for one hour. Next, the preform is cooled and subjected to further isothermal heat treatment in a temperature range of 700-1350°C for 1-48 hours followed by inertial cooling to room temperature.
EFFECT : obtaining of glass-ceramics with luminescence in the visible and near-IR regions, properties stability, high mechanical strength.
