PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a thin film magnet having a large maximum energy by suppressing decrease of coercive force, while having a large magnetization. SOLUTION : A thin film magnet is constituted of a first layer composed of Fe or an alloy of Fe and Co, a second layer composed of FexZ1-x, and a third layer containing rear earth, formed on a substrate. Here, the Z in the second layer is Mo or Ta, the element ratio is 0.05
