PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide the Fe-based hard magnetic alloy which is extensive in the temperature range of the supercooled liquid range, hard magnetic at the room temperature, excellent in the material strength, and excellent in hard magnetism after heat treatment by providing the alloy mainly consisting of Fe and containing one or more kinds of rare earth element, one or more kinds of Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W and Cu, and B. SOLUTION : The temperature range ΔTx of the supercooled liquid range is >=20K (ΔTx=Tx-Tg), where Tx is the crystallization starting temperature, and Tg is the glass transition temperature. The Fe-based hard magnetic alloy is preferably of the composition of Fe100-x-y-z-w Rx My Tz Bw , where R is one or more kinds of rare earth elements, M is one or more kinds of Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta, Cr, Mo, W, and Cu, and T is one or more kinds of Co and Ni, x, y, z, and w respectively satisfy the inequalities of 2<=x<=15, 2<=y<=20, 0<=z<=20, 10<=w<=30, in terms of atm.%. The alloy is made the metallic glass alloy by the liquid rapid cooling method and the casting method, and heat treated at 500-850 deg.C.
