The present invention relates to a waste fluorescent lamp optical sorting system which comprises : a waste fluorescent lamp transfer unit rotating and transferring a waste fluorescent lamp; an observation unit installed in an upper portion of the waste fluorescent lamp transfer unit to photograph the waste fluorescent lamp; a sensor unit converting an image photographed in the observation unit to digital data; a reading unit receiving digital image data from the sensor unit to extract information of the waste fluorescent lamp; and a signal unit generating an electrical signal which selects the waste fluorescent lamp based on the information of the waste fluorescent lamp.
