PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a urea concentration measuring method capable of measuring a urea concentration in a sample solution quickly and accurately with high sensitivity, and miniaturizing an apparatus. SOLUTION : In a urea concentration measuring method, a first reagent containing hypohalous acid ions, and a second reagent containing a xanthene dye and a rare earth fluorescent complex are added into a sample solution containing urea and reacted together, and the intensity of chemiluminescent light generated therefrom is measured, to thereby measure the urea concentration.
