PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sealing film for a solar battery and a solar battery that can keep an effect of increasing the power generation efficiency for a long term. SOLUTION : A sealing film contains resin material containing olefin (co-)polymer and wavelength conversion material. The wavelength conversion material contains resin particles formed of acrylic resin including organic rare earth complex. The acrylic resin is polymer obtained by reacting components for acrylic resin containing (meta) acrylate monomer, crosslinking agent and azo-type polymerization initiator. The crosslinking agent is a compound represented by the following formula (I) : [R1 and R2 represent hydrogen atom or methyl group independently, and n represents an integer of 2 to 14]. In the formula (I), the content of the crosslinking agent ranges from 0.1 to 5 wt% with respect to 100 wt% of the (meta) acrylate monomer when n is equal to 2, and ranges from 0.1 to 50 wt% with respect to 100 w t% of the (meta) acrylate monomer when n ranges from 3 to 14.
