The present invention relates to an LED encapsulant comprising rare earth metal oxide particles, and more specifically to an LED encapsulant comprising, in a polymer resin, a compound represented by chemical formula (1), the compound being included at 50 wt% or less relative to the entire composition. The encapsulant composition according to the present invention has the advantage of dramatically improving the light extraction efficiency of light formed in an LED chip.
