PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a nickel hydrogen secondary battery which is improved in self-discharge characteristics more than before. SOLUTION : A nickel hydrogen secondary battery 2 includes : an outer can 10; and an electrode group 22 which is housed in the outer can 10 together with an alkaline electrolyte in a sealed state. The electrode group 22 comprises a positive electrode 24 and a negative electrode 26 which are overlapped with each other via a separator 28. The negative electrode 26 includes a rare earth-Mg-Ni system hydrogen-storage alloy, and the alkaline electrolyte contains NaF. COPYRIGHT : (C)2015, JPO&INPIT
