A dielectric ceramic material contains a barium titanate compound having a perovskite-type crystal structure as the main component and also contains Al and Si. The total molar amount of Al and Si is 2 to 4 parts by mole relative to 100 parts by mole of Ti, and the content of Al relative to the aforementioned total molar amount is 0.2 or less (excluding 0) by mole. It is preferred that the dielectric ceramic material contains a specific rare earth element (Re) such as Gd, Tb and Dy. Each of dielectric layers (6a to 6g) in a laminated ceramic capacitor is made from the dielectric ceramic material. The thickness of each of internal electrode layers (2a to 2f) is preferably 0.6 μm or less. Thus, it becomes possible to provide : a dielectric ceramic material which enables the further reduction in the thickness of a dielectric layer, and can surely have good reliability even when a high electric field is applied continuously for a long period under high-temperature conditions or high-temperature and high-humidity conditions; and a laminated ceramic capacitor manufactured using the dielectric ceramic material.
