PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To minimize variation in material characteristics or lowering of durability, in a thermoelectric conversion element using a Sb-based thermoelectric conversion material. SOLUTION : A thermoelectric conversion element includes a unit element composed of a Sb-based thermoelectric conversion material, electrodes bonded to both ends of the unit element, and an alloy layer including a full Heusler phase containing Sb provided between the Sb-based thermoelectric conversion material and at least one of the electrodes. Preferably, the alloy layer is Ti(Co, Ni)2Sb. Preferably, the Sb-based thermoelectric conversion material is RxCo4Sb12(R is a rare earth element. 0≤x≤1). COPYRIGHT : (C)2014, JPO&INPIT
