An earth anchor of the present invention comprises an anchor rod inserted into the ground and in which a thread is formed on the outer surface; a stopper fixed on one side of the anchor rod; an idling unit idling by accommodating one side of the anchor rod therein; a gearing rotation unit ascending and descending in a longitudinal direction of the anchor rod as being rotated along the thread of the anchor rod; a settlement plate arranged in a radial manner between the idling unit and the gearing rotation unit and selectively spread according to the separation distance between the gearing rotation unit and the idling unit; an extension rod located on a collinear line with the anchor rod to extend the length of the anchor rod; a connection unit to control the movement of the extension rod by being screwed to the outside of the extension rod; a power transmission unit located on one end of the extension rod to transmit torque provided from the outside to the extension rod; and a probe member ascending and descending in a longitudinal direction of the anchor rod as one side is in contact with the gearing rotation unit and in which one end is protruding from the ground to display the spreading amount of the settlement plate.
