PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having good characteristics, especially good IR characteristics and high-temperature load life even under high electric field intensity.
SOLUTION : There is provided a dielectric ceramic composition comprising a main component composed of a perovskite compound represented by the compositional formula (Ba1-x-ySrxCay)m(Ti1-ZZrZ)O3 (wherein, all of the m, x, y and z represent a molar ratio and satisfy 0.9≤m≤1.1, 0≤x≤0.5, 0≤y≤0.3, 0≤(x+y)≤0.6 and 0.03≤z≤0.3) and a first sub-component composed of an oxide of a rare earth element R, wherein the dielectric ceramic composition comprises dielectric particles and a grain boundary, the dielectric particles contain all solid solution particles in which Zr is solid-solved in the entire dielectric particles and when the concentration of the Ti atom in the dielectric ceramic composition is defined as 100 atm%, the Zr concentration in the dielectric ceramic composition is defined as Za and when the concentration of the Ti atom in all solid solution particles is defined as 100 atm%, the average concentration of Zr in all solid solution particles is defined as Zb, the expression, 0.7<(Zb/Za) is satisfied.
