The present invention relates to a glass to be applied to a solid laser, and more specifically, to a glass to be applied to a short-pulse and high peak power laser. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for expanding the emission band width of rare earth ions which are used as laser oscillation ions in a solid laser medium, particularly, phosphate-based glass compositions using Nd and Yb as a co-dopant.
