PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having high relative permittivity under high electric field intensity even when the thickness of the dielectric layer is reduced, in addition, having good temperature characteristics and reliability.SOLUTION : This dielectric ceramic composition includes barium titanate as a main component, and contains, to 100 mol of barium titanate, 5-15 mol of a component expressed by (1-x)BaZrO+xSrZrO(where x is 0.4-0.9) in terms of BaZrOand SrZrOrespectively, 3-5 mol of an Mg oxide in terms of MgO, 4-6 mol of a rare earth element oxide in terms of RO, 0.5-1.5 mol of an oxide of at least one element selected from Mn, Cr, Co and Fe in terms of MnO, CrO, CoOand FeOrespectively, and 2.5-4 mol of an Si-containing compound in terms of Si.
