PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for efficiently separating lanthanoid rare earth elements. SOLUTION : A kind of eumycetes enabling dysprosium-neodymium to be accumulated, belonging to genus Paecilomyces, is provided. A method for separating dysprosium or neodymium from iron, comprising subjecting a descendant resulted from subculture of the microorganism or a mutant derived from the microorganism to a mixture of iron and neodymium or dysprosium is also provided.
