PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a ceramic capacitor in which a relative dielectric constant and an insulation resistance are high, a rate of temperature change in the relative dielectric constant is reduced and reliability of a high-temperature load lifetime is improved. SOLUTION : Dielectric porcelain comprises barium titanate as a main component and contains V, Mg, Y, Mn and a rare earth element (RE) and a crystal particle 9 includes a core part where a content of the rare earth element is 0.2 atom% or less and a shell part where the content of the rare earth element is 0.4 atom% or more. Crystal particles of a first crystal group, crystal particles of a second crystal group and crystal particles of a third crystal group coexist. In the first crystal group, thickness of the shell part is 10 to 30 nm and an average particle size is 0.10 to 0.20 μm, in the second crystal group, the thickness of the shell part is 32 to 50 nm and the average particle size is 0.22 to 0.30 μm and in the third crystal group, the thickness of the shell part is 52 to 100 nm and the average particle size is 0.32 to 0.5 μm.
