PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a constant velocity universal join that exhibits excellent durability at a high temperature while employing a silicone rubber boot that contains no rare earth element-containing compounds such as a cerium oxide. SOLUTION : A constant velocity universal joint includes an outer joint member 2, an inner joint member 4, a shaft 8 connected to the inner joint member 4, and a boot 9 mounted to the outer joint member 2 and the shaft 8 either directly or via a separate member. The boot 9 contains silicone rubber, an iron oxide, and a titanium oxide, and is a molded body of a silicone rubber composition that contains no rare earth element-containing compounds.
