An objective of the present invention is to provide a method of separating and recovering uranium oxide and rare earth metal and a separating and recovering apparatus for the same. To achieve the objective, the method of separating and recovering uranium oxide and rare earth metal comprises : a step of introducing an additive to oxidize an uranium compound to eutectic salt including a uranium compound and a rare earth compound to allow uranium oxide to be precipitated; a step of using an eutectic salt electrolysis method using liquid metal as a cathode to recover rare earth metal from the rare earth compound; and a step of recovering the precipitated uranium oxide. According to the present invention, uranium oxide and rare earth metal can be separated and recovered from eutectic salt of nuclear fuel after use.
