PURPOSE : A boehmite is provided to have a high aspect ratio or high specific surface area, to have excellent filling property to a filling target object, and to minimize the anisotropy of the object.CONSTITUTION : A boehmite comprises : a step of hydrothermally synthesizing an aluminum hydroxide, magnesium, nickel, acetic acid salt of manganese or cobalt, formic acid salt, sulphate, propionic acid salt, or nitrate salt under the presence of water in a pressurizing state at 180-250 °C. The average particle length of the needle-shaped boehmite is 1-10 μm and the aspect ratio is 30-90. A flake-shaped boehmite has an aspect ratio of 10-35 and has a surface area of 10-30 m^2/g. A manufacturing method of the flake-shaped boehmite comprises : a step of reacting alkali-earth metal compound and aluminum hydroxide under the presence of water in a pressurizing state at 150-300°C; and a step of acid-treating the result, cleaning by water, and removing the residual alkali-earth metal. The alkali-earth metal is one or more selected from calcium, strontium, and barium.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
