An earth-supported structure with fasteners comprises a wall (1) made of stacked sandbags (11) and fasteners (2) between adjacent sandbags (11). The fastener (2) is provided with a base plate (21) and protuberances (22) on both sides thereof, and a reinforcing layer (3) is provided between the base plate (21) of the fastener (2) and the sandbag (11). The reinforcing layer (3) may be selected from cement or adhesion agent (e.g. glue).
