PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a Cr-base alloy having excellent compressive strength and oxidation resistance at high temperature and tensile ductility (elongation) at room temperature and usable under a high-temperature environment of ≥1, 100°C, such as jet-engine and gas-turbine blades, inlet valves and exhaust valves of engines, rocker arms and turbocharger connecting rods for motorcycle and automotive engines. ŽSOLUTION : Ag in an amount of 0.05 to 0.1 mass% is incorporated into Cr, or 0.3 to 18.0 mass% Re and 0.05 to 0.1 mass% Ag are incorporated into Cr. Further, in order to improve compressive strength (yield strength) and ultimate strength, small amounts of Ir or ≤5.0 mass%, in total, of one or more kinds among transition metals, such as Ta, Mo, W, Fe, Ru, Co, Rh, Ni, Pt and Ti, are incorporated.
