PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a Cu-Ni-Si based copper alloy sheet material in which strength is high, and bendability and press blanking property are favorable, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.
SOLUTION : A raw material of a copper alloy has a composition which includes 0.7-4.0 mass% of Ni and 0.2-1.5 mass% of Si, depending on needs, one or more elements chosen from a group consisting of 0.1-1.2 mass% of Sn, at most 2.0 mass% of Zn, at most 1.0 mass% of Mg, at most 2.0 mass% of Co, and at most 1.0 mass% of Fe, further depending on needs, one or more elements chosen from a group consisting of Cr, B, P, Zr, Ti, Mn, Ag, Be, and a misch metal by a range of at most 3 mass% of a total thereof, and a remainder of Cu and inevitable impurities. The raw material is melted, cast, and hot rolled to obtain the copper alloy sheet material. Two or more sheet copper alloy sheet materials are laminated, and performed with finish cold rolling.
