PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of producing a rare earth magnet having a constant and high magnetic coercive force regardless of a difference in production conditions of starting material. SOLUTION : The method of producing a rare earth magnet containing dispersed Nd includes a step for measuring the Nd interval before HD processing of a Nd-Fe-B based rare earth magnet material containing dispersed Nd, a step for setting a temperature at which the HD processing is performed in accordance with the Nd interval, and a step for performing the HD processing of the magnet material at the temperature thus set.
