PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell cell stack decreasing the difference between the coefficient of thermal expansion of a support supporting a power generation element part and that of a fuel electrode and enhancing durability and reliability in the fuel cell cell stack in which a plurality of power generation element parts are installed in the axial length direction of the cell stack and connected in series. SOLUTION : A fuel electrode is formed in two layers of an activated fuel electrode 3b on a solid electrolyte 4 side and a current collecting fuel electrode 3a on the support 2 side, the activated fuel electrode 3b is a mixture of Ni or a Ni oxide with ZrO2in which a rare earth element is present in the form of solid solution, the current collecting fuel electrode 3a on the support side is a mixture of Ni or a Ni oxide on the support side. Since the difference in thermal expansion between the support 2 and the collector fuel electrode 3a is made small, breakage or peeling off of the fuel electrode can be suppressed. Thickness of the collector fuel electrode 3a can be increased, and current can flow at low resistance in the axial length direction of the cell stack. COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI
