PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rubber composition for a tire, which can be well balancedly improved in a low fuel consumption performance, a wear resistance performance and a degradation resistance performance; and to provide a tire for a heavy load, which is fabricated using the same and having a tread. SOLUTION : The rubber composition for a tire comprises a rubber component and a compound represented by formula (1), wherein 100 mass% of the rubber component contains 40 to 95% of a modified natural rubber having a phosphorus content of ≤200 ppm, and 5 to 60 mass% of a butadiene rubber synthesized using a rare earth element-based catalyst. In the formula, A denotes a 2-10C alkylene group; and R1 and R2 are identical or different, and denote a monovalent organic group containing a nitrogen atom. COPYRIGHT : (C)2012, JPO&INPIT
