PURPOSE : A manufacturing method of nanopowder for producing hydrogen, and the nanopowder is provided to manufacture the nanopowder with the high specific surface area. CONSTITUTION : A manufacturing method of nanopowder for producing hydrogen comprise the following steps : mixing a ceria precursor with a rare-earth metal precursor, for forming a precursor solution by dissolving the mixed precursors to distilled water with polyethylene glycol(S10); forming the precursor solution for the hydrogen by adding a hydroxide, while performing an ultrasonic wave processing to the precursor solution(S20); forming a gel state of the precursor solution(S30); washing the gel with alcohol and drying to form powder for producing the hydrogen(S40); and crushing the powder into a nano size(S50).
