Rubber Composition Containing Modified Polybutadiene Rubber Goods. A rubber composition comprising 10 70 mass parts of carbon black having 20 100 min ^ ^ 2/g of specific surface area by nitrogen adsorption, for 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising 20 80 mass parts of a modified polybutadiene rubber and 80 20 mass parts natural rubber and/or at least one other diene-based synthetic rubber, in the polybutadiene modified 88.5 is obtained by polymerizing 1.3-butadiene in an organic solvent using a compound having a rare earth lanthanide series, followed by modification of the polybutadiene obtained and having a bond content of cis-1.4 of 92% or greater, a vinyl bond content of 1.5% or less and a fraction of the chain end modified 20% or greater; and a tire using the rubber composition for a backpack. The rubber composition exhibits excellent property of low heat build-up and tear strength.
