PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet powder less in amount of rare earth elements and low in Curie temperature. SOLUTION : The rare earth magnet powder is a rare earth magnet powder containing R-Fe-B-based magnet, the R represents a rare earth element, contains Nd and Ce or contains Nd and Pr or Ce, the R-Fe-B-based magnet contains further Zr, R at amount of 9 at% to 13 at% and Zr at amount of over 0 at% and 5 at% or less are contained in 100 at% of the R-Fe-B-based magnet and Ce is contained at amount of over 0 at% and 30 at% or less in total 100 at% of the R.
