PURPOSE : A red phosphor for solid lighting is provided to enable production in a temperature range of 1, 000~1, 500 °C using a solid phase sintering method in an atmospheric pressure air.CONSTITUTION : A red phosphor for solid lighting includes Ti and Zn oxides as a main component, and rare earth elements. The rare earth element has one or more combination thereof selected from the group consisting of Eu, Er, Dy, Sm, Tb, Ce, Gd, Nd, Dy, and Ho. A method for preparing the red phosphor comprises the steps of : mixing at least one of Zn oxide or ZnS, Ti oxide, and rare earth element; and heating the mixture at 1, 000~1, 500 °C to form a TiZn2O4 : K red phosphor, wherein K is rare earth elements.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
